Sustainability Preferred for chilled/microwave paths due to robust onshore #5 recycling. Accepted. Limited recyclability in NZ; sorting issues with pigmented/crystallised plastics. Preferred – infinitely recyclable metal, saleable post-consumer product.
Best Food Format Chilled, fresh, or microwave-only convenience meals. Frozen, dual-ovenable, air fryer, or premium oven-bake meals. Pies, lasagnes, roasts, or frozen meals.
Heating Limits Microwave only (up to ~110°C). Melts in conventional ovens. Dual-Ovenable (-40°C to 220°C). Ideal for freezer-to-oven transitions. Conventional Oven/Grill (+250°C). Microwave safe in modern units when spaced correctly.
