The CLF-HCY series is a multi-substrate barrier lidding film engineered to form permanent hermetic seals across diverse tray formats. Designed to consolidate inventory by running a single film across plastic, pulp, and foil lines, it maintains seal integrity across blast freezing, hot-fill packaging, and conventional reheating cycles.
Features
- Inventory Consolidation: Seals securely to PP, PET, CPET, smooth-wall foil, board, and bagasse/pulp without requiring tooling or roll changeovers.
- Thermal Stability: Rated from -40°C to 220°C for freezer-to-oven and hot-fill processing without film distortion or delamination.
- Hermetic Seal Weld: High-integrity fusion bond prevents liquid migration in wet proteins and maintains MAP gas mixtures during transit.
- Anti-Fog Optical Clarity: Integrated anti-fog additives eliminate condensation obscuring consumer shelf presentation under refrigeration.

- Approved Substrates: Polypropylene (PP), APET/PET, CPET, Bagasse / Sugarcane Pulp, and Smooth-Wall Aluminium.
- Exclusions: Incompatible with uncoated, raw-edge Confoil-style foil trays. Operational trials recommended for unlined pulp formats.
